2006 is here [02 Jan 2006|02:44am] u know the best thing about keepin a jouranl...is not so much lookin at how youve changed..but how you havent... like last years resolutions new years resolutions [jan 2005] 1. get in shape - i dont care about losing weight, i just wanna get healthier and look better, so toning up and dropping some inches is key...summers the the goal...i have a lot of work to do 2. im givin up weed...or trying to...its sick...and i got no real problems with it...but it does come with a rep that i dont want...plus this ties into #4. 3. im also giving up casual gambling...so no more poker or betting on games unless its a special occasion..this weekend was the last time..played 5 dollar poker in montreal and mde a bet on what time we'd reach sauga....thats it tho..only gambling will be in casinos or if its something i "really shouldnt miss" 4. im after a girl...dunno who tho..but im ready.....not that im gonna be "lookin" but im gonna make sure i keep my eyes open for once...the reference with #2 is, i wanna real girl..a princess...smart, witty, beautiful, strong principles and convictions, confidence, strong...so essentially someone whos a lot better than i am....cuz i want someone wholl make me a better person...so i think thats what i gotta shoot for...so i dont want anyone who does "drugs" results... #1. failed...i can run my targetted 3k/day...but i look the same..maybe even worse..since i havent changed my eating habits at all.....and ive pretty much stopped weight training [subbed in running] #2. ACCOMPLISHED! #3. mehhhh...i still play poker..its fun for me...but i cut out sports betting and stupi random bets #4. failed; 1st half = heavy romance...didnt work out.....started sleeping with best friends [who i was also sleeping with] best friend....and the previous year's ex....all 3 blew up in my face....2md half = attempted to "take the rest of the year off"...succeeded until december...where i slept with best friend when i shouldnt have..and had to be one the asshole side of a "we cant be anymore than friends" situation" ===== NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS #1. get in shape - im gonna be a lot harder on ymself....LOSE 30 LBS #2. collect materials for teacher's portfolio [referrence letters, assignments, etc] #3. seriously paint out options for what to do after graduating #4. find, get and keep a woman ====== things with lucy nmay not be cool..but their resolved...not sure what our status as friends is.as theres a rediculous amount of awkwardness...but whatever...father time can take care of that....if this is the end of our story...at least we ended things ourselves ======= got back from a poker game...4 people...10$ buy-in..i win in 30minutes ====== on tap for tomorrow - check work schedule - email FX about volunteering in new term - buy desk callender, binders, and any other needed school supplies 1 yer dope
